Terms of use.

The rules for using this site, the newsletter, and our free tools. Last revised 15 May 2026.
01

Acceptance

By using this site, the Daily Brief, or any of our free tools, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the services.
02

What you can do with our content

All articles, podcasts, guides, and templates on this site are © A Leftie Company Pte Ltd, unless attributed otherwise. You may:

  • Read, share, and link to articles freely. Quote up to 200 words with attribution + a link back.
  • Copy our templates for internal use, including modification.
  • Forward newsletter issues to colleagues. Bulk redistribution requires written permission.

You may not republish articles in full without our written permission. We grant syndication rights to a small number of publications — see our partner page.

03

Use of our free tools

Our free tools (e.g. the LLM Citation Tracker) are provided as-is during beta and may be subject to rate limits, downtime, or feature changes without notice. We don't guarantee uptime; we don't guarantee data accuracy; we do our best.

04

User-submitted content

If you submit a pitch, comment, contact form, or job application, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to read, reply to, and (where relevant) publish that submission — for example, a published essay you submit through our pitch process. Editorial control remains with us; final form is mutually agreed.

05

Disclaimers

We publish opinion, analysis, and recommendations based on the best information we have at the time. We are not licensed financial, legal, or investment advisors. Nothing on this site constitutes a guarantee of specific business outcomes for your company.

06

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A Leftie Company Pte Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our content. Our total liability to you, if any, is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months (which for most readers is zero).

07

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.

08

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we post the new version here. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
